The
Campus Ministry team has developed a program at AMHS that provides meaningful
faith experiences for all students.
Students of all faith
backgrounds are welcome at Archbishop Murphy, and
enrich
their understanding
and appreciation of the Catholic faith every day.
Whether it is a lively discussion about the Old Testament
in theology class,
prayer services, or liturgies, students have many opportunities to learn more
about their
faith and grow in the love of God.
We
actively encourage student participation in community building events, such as
the Thanksgiving Canned
Food Drive
and the Christmas Adopt-a-Family. At AMHS, the Rice Bowl has become a fun annual
tradition,
where the school raises record amounts of money for the needy through
a variety of activities.
There are
many ways to get involved in the Campus Ministry program: sing in the choir, be
a lector at mass,
plan a prayer service. There is a place for you!
