| Retreats at AMHS are full of
community building, lively activities, and of course faith!
"Freshman/Step/Retreat"
emphasizes getting to know one another and making connections at AMHS. The
"Sophomore/Service/Retreat"
mixes service and reflection on an immersion retreat experience in
Seattle. The two night "Junior/Reach/Retreat"
plunges into faith-sharing and provides opportunities for personal prayer,
communal sharing, and free time. The
"Senior Retreat,"
an overnight retreat, is for groups of seniors to play group games, listen
and share stories, and relax.
Students are not required to attend any
retreats but are welcome regardless of their religious background, assuming
an openness to share and an attitude of respectfulness is present.
